Synthetic oil can safely be used in your vehicle without causing leaks. Many people think it can lead to problems with your engine, but this isn’t the case at all.
Once you go synthetic, you still have the ability to change back to conventional oil if you wish. You’re never committed to only one kind of oil.
Dark oil doesn’t necessarily mean you need an oil change. This could just be a change in the color of the additives in your oil. The quality is important though. Watch out for sludge-like quality or grittiness.
