2016 MINI Countryman vs Clubman
Serving Ramsey, NJ, Clifton, Wayne, Hackensack and beyond
Two of the most enjoyable and practical 2016 vehicles from MIN are the Countryman and the new Clubman. Both offer go-cart precision, surprising spaciousness, practicality, versatility and sheer fun. The Countryman is a premium crossover SUV with plenty of height and cargo utility. The new Clubman has four front-hinged doors and the iconic rear barn door that seats five in style. Both are logical, and ecological, choices for drivers who crave plenty of thrills, but responsibly.
2016 MINI Countryman
Available in FWD and AWD versions, the frisky Countryman provides firm steering, sharp cornering ability and zingy acceleration. The Cooper S trim level features a 181 hp turbo I4 engine mated to a slick 6-speed manual, although a 6-speed automatic is available. This bulldog of an SUV has long wheelbase and elongated headlights, a muscular structure, beefy lines and good ground clearance. The rising tailgate makes loading easy. The charming interior cabin has a huge speedometer center-front on the dash and a comfortable-for-three rear seat that can be folded down for extra cargo capacity. The front Sport Seats are six-way adjustable and very supportive. Standard features include a six-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with automatic speed volume control and HD Radio, three-spoke leather tilting/telescoping steering wheel, start/stop button, remote entry, automatic A/C, Bluetooth and UBS/iPod adapter, ABS, cornering brake control, electronic brakeforce distribution and front fog lights. Optional goodies include Park Distance Control, a deluxe Harman/Kardon sound system, 6.5-inch high-definition display, navigation, xenon headlights and adaptive headlight control.
